There is a very scary thing going on in the schools right now that all need to be aware of.
There is a type of crystal meth going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks. It smells
like strawberry also and it is being handed out to kids in school yards in AR. I’m sure it will
make its way around the country if it hasn’t already. Kids are ingesting this thinking that it
is candy and being rushed off to the E.R. in dire condition.

It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange ~ it looks just
like pop rocks. This is what they are calling strawberry meth or strawberry quick.
Please instruct your children to not accept candy that looks like this even from a friend
and to take any that they may have to a teacher, principal, etc.

Please pass this around, it could save some family a lot of heartache!

Happy Fathers Day~ June 19, 2007

For Fathers Day this year. I wanted to make it special for Paul and used it as a learning experience for the kids. I want to start a tradition with the kids in that we will make pa a nice meal, buy a small gift and make him feel special on Fathers Day. We surprised pa with a meal and a gift at his spot on the table. I took a picture. I had to use baby wrapping paper because that was all I had but Pa doesn’t mind. The less I spend, the better. It was fun planning this. I prepared a nice salad and lasagna for him. I wanted to make him a homemade scrapbook card but never got around to it. We will have to plan that for next year I guess.  We stopped over my pa’s house and brought him a card and some pizza and snacks. We sat and visited him for awhile. The kids and I stayed there longer while Paul went and played softball and then he came and picked us up. It was a busy but fun weekend. Now time to rest.
